Tickets to Olympic swimming trials to go on sale Friday

OMAHA, Neb. - Tickets for next summer's U.S. Olympic swimming trials were scheduled go on sale Thursday, the Omaha Sports Commission said Wednesday.

The event will determine which swimmers will be on the U.S. Olympic team that competes in the 2008 summer games in Beijing.About 9,000 all-session tickets will be available for the trials, which run from June 29 to July 6 at Omaha's Qwest Center.Ticket prices start at $275, with others sold for $375 and $475. Single-event tickets were not planned.Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster online and by phone, and at the Qwest Center's box office and ticket centers.

Tickets must be purchased with cash or a Visa credit card. No other credit cards will be accepted.A service of the Associated Press(AP)
